Monocacy Brewing Co. - Riot Rye

Here's an illustration I did for Monocacy Brewing Company's Riot Rye beer. Tribe Branding & Design did a wonderful job with the branding design and package design for Monocacy Brewing Company. The colors of the final illustration were a lot brighter after the final adjustments, but ironically this was the color scheme I had envisioned for the illustration at the very beginning of the project when I was sketching out concepts! The colors I envisioned might have been a little more orange, but the colors of the final adjustments are fairly close!

This was a great project to work on. Not only am I excited to have my work on a beer bottle, I also learned a lot while I was working the illustration. You can always push yourself further, even if you feel like you've already pushed yourself as far as you can go!

OhNo!Doom Adventure Time Tribute Show

So excited to post this! Here is my piece for OhNo!Doom's Adventure Time tribute show in Chicago!

This illustration was started quite some time ago; I checked the time stamp of one of my earlier files for the illustration... and it says that it was created August of 2011... I remember having to put it aside due to work, and then I just never worked on it or completely forgot about it. After awhile, I opened up the file and worked on it on and off and completed it little by little. My brother Kevin received an invitation to participate in OhNo!Doom's Adventure Time show and knew that I was working on this Adventure Time piece for awhile, so he was super nice/awesome and forwarded my portfolio to the gallery to get me into the show!

The actual piece I submitted to the show is a 10"x10" UV print on a 12"x12" piece of plywood (3/4" thick) and has an edition of 2, as well as an AP edition of 4. Prints on Wood did a fantastic job on the wood prints. Photos and scans don't do the print justice!

As for the show, my friend's Jeromy and Christina are also participating! The opening reception is on August 11th from 6pm-10pm, and the show closes on August 30th!

Here's an illustration I did for TwinSrpnt. I'm so glad that I'm able to finally post this! A lot of hours went into this illustration, and I'm happy with it.
